L-2시리즈의 세번째 모델인 나일론 자켓입니다. 
1947년 한국 전쟁후 공군은 L-2A플라이트자켓의 컬러를 에어포스 블루에서 실버그레이로 변경했습니다.

 
L-2B 플라이트 자켓의 특징

이것은 비행중 높은 고도에서 태양광 흡수 해결 및 비행기 파손 및 추락시 탈출 후 생존을 위해 위장을 높여 생존가능성을 높이기위한 결정이였습니다.

디자인은 기존의 L-2플라이트 자켓을 계승하고 있습니다. 

 
L-2B 플라이트 자켓의 소재

나일론 리브등이 사용 되었습니다.
