US ARMY M-38 필드 자켓은?

Type M-38 필드 자켓은 미 육군이 필드자켓으로 처음 개발한 자켓입니다.

1930년대 후반부터 미군은 정복과 전투복을 분리하기위해 개발을 시작했습니다.

 

 
US ARMY M-38 필드 자켓의 특징

1930년 후반에서 1940년 초는 엄청난 속도로 근대화가 이루어진 시기입니다. 

지금와서 비교해보면 일차 세계대전의 옷들은 정말로 전투복과 정복이라는 개념보다는 일반적인 유니폼 같이 착용 되었다고 해도 될정도로 1930년 후반과 1940년대의 근대화는 엄청 나기도 했습니다.

이와중에 정복과 전투복으로 처음 개념을 나눈 전투복이라는 의미가 강한 M-38자켓입니다. 

m-38자켓은M-41필드자켓의 초기 모델이라 불리기도 합니다. 

M-41필드자켓이 개발 후 1940년 경  생산이 종료 되었던 비운의 모델이기도합니다.
