영국군 지프코트는?
1940년대 영국군이 착용한 지프 코트로 다른 명칭으로는 리퍼코트(방풍,방수,방한을 위한 더블 브레스트의 자켓.)이라고 불리기도합니다.
 

 
영국군 지퍼코트의 특징
미군에게는 맥키노 코트가 리퍼코트의 역할을 한다면 영국군에게는 지프 코트가 리퍼코트의 역할을 했습니다.
명칭그대로 지프를 탑승시 착용한 자켓 입니다.
지프를 탑승시 추위에 노출되기 쉬운 환경이 되기도 하며 전쟁의 극한의 환경속에서 추위나 체온을 지키는건 생존 과도 연관이 되있기에 보온성을 높일수밖에 없는 구조로 만들어졌습니다.
